My Chip Carving E-letter
Volume 15, 2009

In this issue:

GIVEAWAY contest & pics from my trip

In the recent email I announced the My Chip Carving GIVEAWAY Contest that is underway. Having just returned from Guatemala, I brought back a "chip carved" flute to give away along with a scalloped plate.

The My Chip Carving Foundation account was empty at the start of this GIVEAWAY. I want to fill the Foundation so we can give away more chip carving materials to someone in need. Already several of you have replied by making a donation. Remember, your donation gives you an added 10 entries into the GIVEAWAY Contest. Entry deadline: Midnight (CST), March 20th.

All GOLD subscribers should have received the email containing the GIVEAWAY Contest entry rules. If you have not received this email and would like to, let me know and I'll send it your way.

Our mission team consisted of over 45 people involved in a wide variety of ministries.

During the week many, many people were seen by the medical and dental teams, water filters were inspected and changed, kids enjoyed the Awana team, computer labs were installed and connected to the internet in several Christian schools, piano lessons were taught, people were visited and prayer for, and 5 houses were worked on and dedicated to the Lord.

Here are a few pics from the mission trip my son, Paul, and I were on.

I followed Marcos' lead during the week.

This house was right alongside the road, triangular, and two-story. We had it just about ready for the second story when I left.

Here's the family with their pastor and a co-worker of mine as we presented them with the chip carved plaque I made for the house dedication.
